Title: [Possibly a Scam] Tinkialbier's Steam Shop
Post by: coinnewbit on May 11, 2014, 12:18:22 AM
He gifted me a game for .03198 bitcoin which was later revoked. And hasn't replied me yet. This is to also prevent any sort of scam which might actually take place.

Do people just post 'Possibly a Scams' for no reason? Jeez. Their uncalled for. And not to mention, you only put the words 'Please wait for further updates! Thanks!' Meaning it might not even be a scam.

Couldn't you just put that in the post for clarification?

I agree. There's no reason to even put the word "possible" anywhere in this one.

So you guys think its a 100% chance of a scam? Why not cut the guy loose, and give him a chance to redeem himself?

From my 1-2 years of exchanging, buying, and selling, I would say about 48 hours is the key. 0If a trade didn't occur on a exchange during that time, or if a person never replied after 48 hours, I'd cut my losses.

Yeap, been 24 hours since the trade occurred. 24 hours more to go before I declare it a scam.
