Title: Trading Arkansas Quartz Crystal specimens for Bitcoins...
Post by: Crystal Excursion on April 19, 2011, 02:50:40 AM
Arkansas Quartz Crystals to trade for Bitcoins. We have a surplus of Quartz crystals acquired on an excursion to Arkansas, The Quartz Capital of the world. We are doing this as a Hobby or experiment with Bitcoins. Don't know just what kind of response to expect. http://crystalexcursion.tripod.com/ (http://crystalexcursion.tripod.com/) Any and all feedback appreciated.

Hmmm, Should I Clarify and repost? I don't want to mislead the amateur radio heads... The Quartz Crystals that I am offering are Known for their clarity, And Alleged Meta-physical properties. Good for Rock Hounding Enthusiasts and New-Age Meta-physical type folks...or people that just think that a Natural Quartz Crystal formation is Pretty...

I'm looking for a decent sized, good looking chunk of quartz I can light up from below with a colored LED, do you have anything along those lines (was thinking near football sized if possible) and around what price would you be seeking?

Thanks for asking, Tenth Reality, Thats an Excellent Idea. I have one that weighs 1lb10oz, that is a bit bigger than my fist, has good faces, except a chip at the top. large flat bottom where it was separated from matrix, cloudy at base but progressive clarity to the point. If the quartz is absolutely clear, the light will pass directly through and is less noticeable than when there is some impurity to cause defraction within it. Man have you thought about using some electronics to make the LED oscillate at frequencies that allegedly enhance certain Brain wave states? If your interested I can mail pic's of the piece. feel free to educate your self about Mineral specimen grading and pricing, It's an inexact science in it's self. I am asking an equivalent of 50 usd plus shipping

Please shoot me some picks to my username here At gmail.com and up, I was considering tossing some RGB LED's in it and having some fun.
