Title: Miners don't even know what P2SH is!
Post by: Remember remember the 5th of November on January 26, 2012, 03:21:58 PM
In regards to this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=60829.0

Users don't know what P2SH is, nor do I. So why do they have to vote, when they don't understand it?

The explanation in the wiki is vague and is meant for dev users. My dev experience is small, and I don't understand the bitcoin protocol in order to know what P2SH is.

An explanation is REQUIRED in order to vote.

Sadly, both sides are twisting this into seeming like a "vote". It isn't. In order to activate full validation of P2SH transactions, we need over 50% of the hash power to update their clients to be ready to preform the full validation.

People are refusing to update.
