It used to be this way in the past but that was abused by scammers so much so that in the end it wasn't worth it. You're not going to get a loan with either collateral or large trust (you'll need to complete many trades without any hitches). If you have any altcoin collateral you might want to post that if you really need the loan - but as you said you might just be better off selling it.
