What is burning up tho? cgminer detects it as the lower temp ... Title: Re: What part of my 5970 is burning up??? 96C??? Post by: ZodiacDragon84 on January 31, 2012, 06:04:59 AM Id bet airflow dead spots at bottom of case maybe? open the side, and put a fan blowing in there for a bit. See if that drops the temp.

Post by: portron on January 31, 2012, 06:34:44 AM I had a junk cooler master PSU that got hot, and had a 5870 sitting in the bottom slot next to it... card was always 10-15c hotter. Try putting a fan in the front of your case blowing air toward the intake of the 5970 (faces the front)... or if your PSU is getting hot, upgrade :)
