Also 240 Ghps is not actual hashing capacity online right now. It is how much power I can draw from the utilities in this given DC (without major upgrades) and how much I can cool. P.S. Though some con artists on alibaba.com are all too happy to offer 1000+ 5970's if one pays using Western Union >:( Cheap as dirt too... Well from what I've read the 6990s should be pretty good for mining. They have a higher TDP but given that 5970s can't be found cheaply one has no choice but to go for the 6990s. Btw, what would you consider a fair price for a 5970? I found a few here in Canada (Ontario) selling in the $500 (CAD) range.
