Title: [ANNOUNCE] Liteco.in is back! - Litecoin Blockchain Backups and Block Explorer
Post by: someguy123 on February 12, 2012, 10:20:06 PM
I'm now running these main services for Litecoin:

Litecoin/Liquidcoin Block explorer (http://abe.liteco.in/chains/)

Nightly Blockchain Backups (.tar.bz2) (http://blockchain.liteco.in/)
Liteco.in forum (http://liteco.in/) (still under construction)

Just a quick question to the litecoin community: Which forum software would you prefer (free)? MyBB, phpBB, SMF, or other?
And if anyone has any idea about Xenforo conversion, as in xenforo->phpBB or other forum software, I'll be able to keep all the old posts and threads from the old http://liteco.in

If you have any problems, post here, or contact me on irc.freenode.org - #bitcoin - I'm someguy123.

Running these services costs money and time, if you could donate even 0.01 to any of my addresses, it helps me to keep them running as good as possible.
Thanks.

EDIT: Just a little note, if you want, I'm able to run blockexplorers for any other cryptocurrencies that need it, simply let me know and I'll add it.

So, anybody got any ideas about what forum software to use for liteco.in?
Planning on going with mybb possibly, not sure yet.

phpBB seems to be pretty popular and seems to have a very good community support too.

phpBB it is then.
Unfortunately I can't find any xenforo converters, but the database backup will be posted on the forum (only posts and threads) incase anyone can convert them for liteco.in.
