A lot of people are anticipating some big movements for coins. What are you holding this summer? What do you think is gonna be hot this summer?

I got a lot of Mintcoin. Apparently they are getting some huge news in the coming days and the developer is anticipating the coin will skyrocket.
They have a Mintcoin Fund and it is the first legally registered NGO for cryptocurrencies.

I like X11Coin as it is getting a lot of attention.

CINNI looks interesting too with their roadmap. They are very innovative with their information and messaging system.

I heard about CRY, but I didn't buy into it. It jumped 10x in the past week.

I got into BlackCoin, some big movements when they did CoinKite.

DRK looks interesting, but it seems like CINNI and X11Coin are stealing it's thunder.

What do you think will be hot for the summer?

I will hold NEM, NXT, EXO and the three classics like PPC, LTC and BTC

Bitcoin and Monero for now. Sold my PPC to get XMR, and will buy back into PPC later once I feel confident it has bottomed out.

It seems to me that we've already reached the bottom of ppc.
Don't you hold more coins for a longer term, do you?

I'm also interested in getting some NXTL.
But for a longterminvestment I just decided to hold NEM, NXT, EXO as 2.gen and the three classics of gen. 1.

We may have. I got out just under 0.004 so it seems I'm doing something right. I'll wait for confirmation of a trend reversal and not try to catch the dagger on this one.

BTC is the long term hold obviously.

Still holding Mintcoin and buying some more to since the price dropped so low again.
Also holding Dopecoin, just because the dev team is really cool, and there coin is actually something I like.
Holding electronic guilder to one of my less succesfull investments, however I saw they added a council of people that is gonna take care of the coin.
So we can still see some good stuff on this coin.

NEM, EXO, NXT, NXTL, SC and ENRG.
Hope the last two will hit a big exchange like Mintpal or bter.com during the next months.

I didn't do my own research as I don't own any DRK, but guys in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560138.0 claim it was instamined. If so market will be(and is today) HEAVILY manipulated

Now i realize there are so many projects going on various altcoin ::) It's hard decide where to put our money.

 But recently i've been looking to several coins, like CAIx and BC. I think CAIx have a serious dev team, look at their website, wallet and MP. The Masternode, and PSP program with 3 KnC Titan miners seems promising to me.

BC has much upcoming new features like Blackhalo, Anon wallet, and the most special is PoS 2.0!

Reddcoin, seems like a bottom floor investment... Going up!

No one can say for sure this or that coin will be worth to hold for longer.

This summer I will hold doge, its value has reached the bottom and can only go up from here,
I'm expecting at least a doubling from the current price.

is it better to invest only in btc then other altcoin? in the end the altcoins always go down like mastercoin and litecoin.

I would bet the best coin for the summer is Fitcoins :)

Bitcoin and Monero. Monero mostly because it uses better technology than DRK and it could replace it one day!

better to invest in some low volume coin, like x13/cloak/boost

I'm currently having some Doge. I will sell them after USD/Doge markets open in cryptsy.com (during this month) and in hitbtc.com (before 15th of this month).

All that money i'm going to invest on FIMK and i'm going to sit on most of it the whole summer.

I'm bit interested in NXT too but i'm going to wait it to stabilize or price to drop a bit.

I might try to short with WhiteCoin, Anoncoin and Reddcoin. I might also want some Litecoin if it stops going down and shows some recovery (not necessary in price.. recovery as a "brand" and trust in community)

Have cryptsy made some official statement about their USD markets? They have "very soon" on their pages for like half a year.

I put a bit down on XC.

I also looked into MYR. Some really powerful things they are doing.

As well, I was pleased to see MINT triple in price yesterday.
Maybe it'll be the summer of MINT.

I put everything into Monero XMR, all my BTC, sold all my other coins and bought XMR. Its the next one to go .02

BTC, XMR, MYR, NRS for me. I'm not really sure for NRS, but I'll give it a chance.  :)

lol, i am new, and 2/3 of BTC i bought yesterday put in Monero. Monero is Money afterall.
