Title: [WTS] Quirky e-gift cards
Post by: JohnBigheart on February 17, 2012, 10:58:42 AM
I am selling Quirky e-gift cards for BTCs!

Quirky gift cards available in $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $250 dollar amounts with e-mail delivery. The e-mail codes are sent directly from Quirky so I will need your e-mail address and won't know the code myself. The gift card balance can be checked anytime on the Quirky Website http://bit.ly/wulczN (http://bit.ly/wulczN).

Price: 75% of nominal value on MtGox weighted average in BTCs

What Can I do with a Quirky Gift Card?

You can buy tangible goods in the Quirky Shop http://bit.ly/Az5kVs (http://bit.ly/Az5kVs) like these :

I will give the first buyer 12% discount to test the gift card purchase process and establish a good track record.
BTC weighted average is 4.40 on MtGox now. First buyer can have a $25 gift card for 5 BTCs.

Instead of Bitcoins, what about a MtGox USD Voucher?

How much for a $50.00 voucher?

I wonder what the relative disinterest is down to:
- the price ain't right: you want a higher discount
- there is nothing on quirky.com that you care to buy/use
- you do not trust me and fear that this may be a scam
- you would rather not spend BTCs as you like to keep them on you

I have to admit I was expecting a bit more liquidity in the BTC as a currency.

I don't understand. Are you the owner of this site?

I am not the owner of that site, nor an employee. You don't have to be the owner of Amazon.com to sell Amazon gift cards. Quirky has over 200.000 members and I am one of them. I have earned some bucks there and have them sitting in my account. I could have them paid out but international payout is expensive and involves paperwork. So I thought I would just use my funds there to purchase gift cards and trade them for BTCs. I am kind of surprised by the lack of interest so I started posting images of stuff you can buy there.
