Of course the nicotine I purchase is diluted with propylene glycol but it is still a deadly poison if someone were to drink it. Far more illicit and dangerous stuff is bought with the USD than BTC. That is true for a while there the Silk Road was equivalent to Bitcoin it's faded significantly since but I'm sure that some of that sentiment remains and would set it back for a while. But so far, no evidence has emerged on terrorist organizations using Bitcoin. It seems that they are having other channels and methods to transfer their funds. Once those methods are blocked, they might turn to Bitcoin.
