I have placed a bet, won and so far i havent gotten my withdrawal!

Edit: after contacting the support the withdrawal took place now. It seems an error occured where they tried to send the btc to a non existent coinbase account or something...

The Arsenal -1 bet, is resulted correctly as a losing bet. There is always the option to bet the draw on the handicap line. So there is never a refund/push on handicaps on our site. That is the way it is done with European handicaps. You're confusing it with Asian handicaps, which we do not offer. For you to have won your bet Arsenal would have had to have won by 2 or more goals eg. 3-1 or more.

This is something every sportsbook with a thread here should do - include your email support address in your header and/or your signature.
It should be easy to find, so the book can be contacted if the site is down, such as in this case.

Any time there is an incident like this the book's cs should be responsible to communicate with their customers.

BetVIP knows of this thread, and should automatically put in an appearance when there is a problem such as the site being down.

It is incompetent at best to not do so.

tonyq - I can't say for sure how this will turn out, but you must remember that the same thing occurred previouslywithin the last year I think it was.

The same sequence of events occurred - they didn't respond at all in the forums, I or we and others contacted them, they stated at first it was upgrading the equipment, that went on too long and then it became we're under DDOS attack which I didn't find credible at the time.

Now the same sequence of events has unfolded.

RE: live betting.
If I try to place live bet and odds change I get message "odds changed, please accept new odds" - there is button below betting slip but clicking it has no effect, I contacted support about this but I wrote it occurred on ipad now I see the same behavior @ Chrome on PC  :o
Only way to place bet in such situation is to cancel bet and bet again hoping odds won't change again...

I've reported the following issue perhaps 6 months or more ago - just happened again:

Wanted to delete a bet in the Bet Slip
Click on the "x" in the Bet Slip
Small window - "Are you sure you want to delete this bet?" or something like that
I click "OK" - Bet Slip still there, but I get a 2nd small window immediately stating:

[Object XML HttpRequest]

and under it a checkbox  and to the right of the checkbox "Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs"

I have no idea what this means and am uncomfortable checking it so I'm going to go to the hassle of closing the window with Betvip and then opening a new tab, going to the site, relogging in.

I have this problem with no other website ever anywhere.

You can tally up your turnover since the bonus was issued (whilst filtering out the bets that did not qualify due to minimum price). You can access this information from your betting history. At the moment it is manual, or you can submit a request via support to check for you.

After some emails with Support, you finnaly told me my bonus was already cleared.  But not added to my account.  Its pretty lame I would say - it's been days and many emails to get this answers, so I continued betting on game to clear the bonus for nothing.  If it's a mistake, correct it asap - its been many ''mistakes'' since I first tried BetVip.  If it's an angle shot to keep me betting (or hoping I'll forget the bonus), it's much worst.  Both way, if you want to succeed, you have to be better then that.

Still nobody on this thread telling us what's happening plus no response from support.
It's bitcoinlivebets all over again.
They stiffed me for a chunk, MT Gox stiffed me and now these people doing the same.
Very disillusioned and angry right now.
I can't believe there's only a couple of us on this thread being robbed.
Shows they couldn't have been doing much business.

I'm disappointed by the support. It is not hard to give customers an update on the situation.
betvip can post daily multiple times about offers on their facebook page but are somehow unable to give support to rightfully worried customers.

What are they gonna have as an excuse when the site maintenance is over for not giving support to the customers.

Spot on......I have sent around 8 emails to support today, the first one was answered with an apology that nothing had been posted on this thread about the situation,  plus an assurance that someone would do so straight away, that was 14 hours ago.
The other 7 have been ignored.
As you say, even if they came back, how the hell can they expect their customers to have any confidence in them?
Most will just want to draw their funds out and go elsewhere.

Last question, how about your poker site? Do you stop it too, as I can see there is no tournaments at least for the last 24hours but I still can find some players online atm?

Ok guys, the day has arrived.
It's the cut off point today for anyone owed bitcoin by BetVIP.
I lodged my withdrawal request the day I read this posting.....Sadly, I received no acknowledgement of that request...I assume nobody else did either.
Will I get my 1.67 bitcoin that I had in there when they folded?
If I do, it will be in the next 48 hours according to the above statement.
We shall see.

From the lack of action on this thread I'm beginning to think I was their only punter.

BetVip odds were very low, that is why mostly players don't like to bet there. I heard some trying to hooping there 1 BTC bonus so many be they are getting bonus hunter players mostly.

Horrible user interface.

Numerous software glitches including extreme difficulty in making bets.

Problems logging in with their Cloudflare settings, getting logged out and having to redo Cloudflare frequently, etc.

Non-competitive odds.

Very low limits.

Markets posted late. No overnights iirc on major USA sports.

I'm also waiting for my coins, mine is a little more than 1.67 I don't know exactly how much, I had a winner pending bet before the site disappeared.

I was attracted by the only licensed bitcoin sportsbook ad. Turns out having a license is useless to the costumers.

Does it turn out to be useless?
I'm sure the people that granted the licence can be informed if the person that held the licence defaults on payments to customers.
What action can then be taken would have to be looked into.

The red flag for me though was when I read this less than a day before the site vanished:

I will pursue the matter and the man vigorously if I have to.....not because of the amount involved but because of the way things have been handled so far.

I have around 0.03 in their sportsbook and 0.006 left for their poker. They really messed things up . Poker players was luckier because we can withdraw automatically even after all this announcement of they are shutting down come out. But I left 0.006 just incase I want to see if they fulfill their promises or not.

Well...............it's now the 29th June, so after yesterday's cut off to apply for funds it appears nothing's  been sent to wallets yet.

So now everyone's accounts have been transferred to Cloudbet, with whom I've had an account for over a year but Cloudbet tell me my amount owed by Betvip is zero as my total did not cover a bonus work through!
That has to be absolute cobblers as I joined around 9 months ago with a deposit of 1 bitcoin and got a 100% bonus with terms and conditions that it had to be turned over a few times. I can't recall exactly but I believe it was somewhere in the 3-5 times region.
Seeing as I used to have a couple or more bets a day ranging in stake from between 0.3 and 1.0 bitcoin  I would have done that in a few months easily!....let alone 9 months.
I even looked at how much was available to withdraw a few days before the site folded and  the figure was the whole amount that was in my account whereas in the early days it was always less than I had showing due to the bonus work through.
I've now had to email and request my betting record to try to sort it all out.
So far of course,  I've heard nothing back.
BetVIP have to go down as the very worst outfit to have ever run an online sportsbook.
The people responsible should be ashamed of themselves.

Have now sent TWO  requests  for my betting history as it says on the front page at www.betvip.com so that I can prove they are holding back my bitcoin wrongly........of course I have had nothing back yet.
What a fucking bunch of useless bastards.
