Title: Mtgox accepting paxum?
Post by: bitcoinTrader on February 22, 2012, 10:53:39 AM
Hi,

Just saw that mtgox has the paxum deposits back in their Add Funds option.
Have they sorted out the paxum ban on bitcoin exchanges?

Is it safe to fund mtgox via paxum, without the risk of account being frozen?

Mtgox support, if you can respond to this, it will be good.

Paxum released a statement earlier this month that they will be no longer allowing transaction between bitcoin parties. My personal account with Paxum is currently suspended and while they said in the letter that all funds will be relased by EFT,  nothing has gone in.
While Mtgox has not officially said that Paxum is no longer an option, I would be very careful as gox has never run a Paxum withdraw for me without me having to investigate as to where my funds are.
I would try a diferent method for your own security.

Paxum is no longer an option, and the reason is well known to everyone here.

The paxum add funds option was made visible again by error on the page, and is hidden again now (and will be fully removed soon to avoid this from ever happening again). Sorry for the misunderstanding.
