Title: Beware of user anush3070
Post by: teknikk7 on June 13, 2014, 06:06:40 PM
Just a warning to everyone.  I started to work with anush3070 and was promised a 48 hour turnaround for a couple of coins.  It's been exactly 1 month and day after day I am told that he needs just 48 hours more.  He met a milestone halfway into the project so I made the big mistake of paying him partially .8 BTC for his work.  Another week has passed with no further work to show for it.  I asked him for a refund because he was a month passed his promise date and he said he doesn't have it, it's all spent.  Now he is apparently having power issues and can't talk.

This is my fault for paying him but just wanted to warn everyone.  I am out almost $500 with nothing to show for it.  Again, my fault but just wanted to put the warning out.

Oh well, live and learn.  I take full responsibility but just thought I would put a warning out.

Started to work with you.. You had ordered 2 coins out of which 1 coin was delivered and the payment was for that. Now even after delivering the coin you call it a scam then how am I supposed to be blamed?
The total amount was 2.4 btc. 1.2 btc for each coin. I have proofs that you took the coin and paid me 0.8 btc for the first coin. Then why are you in a loss here?

1. What was the original agreement?
2. When was it started/delivered?
3. Was anything changed from the original agreement?
4. Does it work as it should?
5. If it works, what is the problem? If it does not work, why?

2. When was it started/delivered?
3. Was anything changed from the original agreement?
4. Does it work as it should?
5. If it works, what is the problem? If it does not work, why?

1) May 11th agreement, 48 Hours to deliver 2 coins for 2.6 BTC (Also include BCE, nodes and multiple wallets).  Logos and information submitted on May 12.  As the days and weeks go by I keep checking in for updates.  Every time he states, it's almost done, "another 48Hrs" needed.
2) 3 weeks late submits 1 coin half finished riddled with errors.  The functionality seems to work but there are typos all over the wallet, branding incorrect etc.  On good faith I made a partial payment of .8 BTC for his work thus far.  He states the the next coin is just 24Hrs away.  Days go by, then a week.  I asked for a refund, he stated that it was spent and gone.  But he just needs another 48Hrs and it will be complete.  Deadline is today, his first message to me was that his power was out.  He has no way to work.  This is even after an additional 12 hours beyond his own deadline.
3. Nothing changed except his deadlines moved daily.  He must have promised another "48Hrs" about 20 times.
4. The coin in it's current state is not useable.  I trashed it.
5. Again, riddled with errors unusable.

Also, I should have used escrow and did a better job on homework.  I found another thread here. https://bitcointa.lk/threads/want-to-make-your-own-cryptocurrency-starting-at-just-0-09-btc.266964/

In March there was a complaint.  I should have known better before giving him the benefit of the doubt.  But I figured I would reward him for the work he has been doing in good faith.

Other than this main issue he seems like a competent programmer who is knowledgeable.  I guess that's only half of the equation.  At least it was only .8 and not 2.6.  Ouch

Anyhow, Thanks

He claims you didn't ask him for a refund, and then says he sent you a coin so a refund is out of the question. I'm not sure how that makes any sense. Do you perhaps have any evidence you asked for a refund, like PMs that align with the dates?

1. What was the original agreement?
2. When was it started/delivered?
3. Was anything changed from the original agreement?
4. Does it work as it should?
5. If it works, what is the problem? If it does not work, why?

http://www.datafilehost.com/d/84c0b838

here is the link to the 1st Coin.
you can download and check of how much its Incomplete as he claims :)

Also the Wallet Works as I tested it had all features.
The problems were:

Few Texts that needed changes like for example its written Litecoin in about us maybe so it needs to be Umbrella-LTC.

The total as he said was: 2.6 BTC

Which means 1.3 BTC each coin.

I delivered the 1st coin wallet which entitles 1.3 BTC out of which 0.8 Was paid and I would have given the source code as well as the MAC wallet if he had paid 0.5 more which makes it 1.3 BTC.

Since that was not the case so I agreed up in finishing the Umbrella-BTC which took lot of time, and also I was updating him DAY by DAY, never have I failed to respond him. Then How am I a scammer ?

anush3070, do you dispute any of the chat text that was  posted? If not, it looks like you kept moving the goal posts on the time. It also looks like you were in over your head and had a friend bail you out. If the chat text is valid, you need to reduce the price as per your agreement as you were way over the agreed time frame.
If the coin is unusable, you need to provide a full refund as you didn't fulfill the original agreement.

This isn't anything new as you can read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=529244.0

I gave the link for the QT and it was completely usable with the exact features he asked anyone can test and verify. ! Also thats fine with me reducing the cost. But even that wasnt said later, it was a direct scam accusation. Also if anyone could check the QT then they can see its a finished QT. ! That is why the Refund is not possible. Also if anyone want to review the source code, feel free to PM me. !

Thanks for your involvement KWH, at this point I am chalking this up as a loss.  I don't expect any refund, I am sure it is gone and spent until he can scam someone else for more.  Part of the agreement was support.  So even if he did fix one of the wallets last minute, I would never use it because I simply would not want to ask him for support.  This is business, you can't simply move deadlines at will, let alone for a month.  I asked for a refund a couple times as you can see, he would not provide it.  Each and every time I had to chase him down for information.  He never once offered a status update on his own.  I have a couple options that I am looking into on my end to try and get some resolution.  None of which I want to talk about on these forums. If the mods can close this thread that would be great.  I just wanted to put the warning out, thats all.

Thanks again.

now this is an utter lie. I did not fix it last minute.. ask him the copy of wallet I sent him.. That will prove all. Also I gave him support day by day. The only thing I dint msg him first was that he appeared to be offline, it was the time zone difference but never have I failed to reply him. So its not the support that has problem. ! I gave him the first coin and it cant be refunded for the work done I suppose !

You sound just like that Apocalipsis guy. I don't think you understand fully what a refund is. Yes, you did work on it, but he's still entitled to a refund.

Customer Feedback

I placed an order with anush3070 and upon receiving the coin source and compiled wallet-qt I am pleased with the finished product.

They met my specifications and was delivered mine-able ready without any blocks except the genesis block mined. Which is good because I was worried I would receive a coin that had been pre-mined.

The node has stayed up since launch and I am over all happy with the purchase.

Since we conducted our transaction without escrow trust was an issue but after receiving the coin source and wallet-qt before I sent payment I was relieved.

As with all projects difficulties arose and communication over the internet can be fuzzy at times, still I would personally recommend anush3070 to friends in the future.

For reference the whole transaction took about a week from start to finish.

Hey,
If you need the refund, As it will take 1 week for my account to be funded. ! For 1 week that reputation if exist on Bitcointalk then I dont think I can make any further business even after the 1 week. I would have lost all :)
If you can remove it today I can guarantee you a refund in 1 week or less as I will get few Clients too maybe. Removing it after 1 week is pointless for me. !
So lemme know what you decide !

Last response from Anush Shetty.  He no longer responds to emails and has again, lied.  It's been 13 days since the promise of a refund.  Psynpase, what coin did you order?
