Thing about lab coin is they never intended to do anything but steal so technically Alberto isn't even a CEO he's simply a fraud

Mircea popescu - price manipulation on his ridiculous exchange and hyperactive trolling/sabatauge of every bitcoin entity out there. Not exactly scam, per se but such terrible ethics and underhanded business practices I think he deserves a mention

I nominate Yifu Guo.  The avalon chip sale fiasco cost a lot of people a lot of money... and he certainly had enough funds that he *could* have done the right thing by his customers. Instead - he screwed over the end users as well as a number of promising miner assembly businesses.


Also - Eduardo DeCastro of HashFast.
Hashfast delivered late on initial batches, and then not at all.
A flowon casualty was the IceDrill project which was due to receive a large number of hashfast units.

+1 First ASIC on the market, also first one to fail/scam! This is pure and live bitcoin history.

*Not sure if he qualifies for the CEO position.

I would throw Pirate in there though since Trendon can be on the list or Tradefortress but they didn't have IPO's
So My vote goes to Eric since its the only one I fell for lol tsk and it was working till btct died lol.

This isn't about IPOs, this is just about the failed businessmen, hence Mark Karpeles being on the list.

I'd also like to nominate Eduardo from HF for "smooth talker".  I talked to that knob on the phone because I had a few simple questions that could have been succinctly and sufficiently answered in five minutes.   Thirty minutes of phone conversation later, nary a single one was answered.

I nominate Erik Voorhees, not so much for SatoshiDICE, where his leadership of this innovative and hugely profitable gambling site seems to have done okay for himself and investors, but for FeedZeBirds, where he very much deserves to be on this illustrious list:

I vote for Danny Brewster, because of how legit and full of potential his service seemed.
Other than Karpeles, no other CEO on that list has had as much media coverage before deciding to become a trainwreck in a few days.

It's hard to beat Karpeles after he lost so much... especially how he's still on Twitter posting random shit just to piss people off

This guy (Scottbit) is either a) Scammer Ryan Gay or b) Friends with Scammer Ryan Gay (most likely a).

RiverBoatBTC is not a scammer, but he did expose Mr Gay who raised 150BTC for starting an exchange, bought a 1BTC script and has never spoken to investors.
