https://ripple.com/tools/info/ can help you to find out more info about accounts and transactions, the graph tool (Accounts Explorer) on http://www.ripplecharts.com/ is also nice... Ripple calls their blocks "ledgers", otherwise they are not very different from other blockchains out there.
