Title: XMPPwocky codes for coins! Post by: XMPPwocky on February 28, 2012, 08:31:50 AM I'm experienced in C, Python and Common Lisp under Linux. Got a problem? I can solve it. All code includes full documentation and is guaranteed secure. Test suites and Git versioning available for an extra charge.
I sweat the small stuff. Your choice of indent style for C and Python. Programs fully UNIXy, and even include manpages. Don't go with a fresh college grad who thinks he's hot shit because he can write Hello World. I've been programming for over 15 years, and am currently employed at a networking startup in SOMA. I have two cats, and enjoy long walks on the beach. With my cats. That's just how I roll. Contact me to discuss pricing. As an introductory offer, small C programs are only 10BTC for a limited time only. Title: Re: XMPPwocky codes for coins! Post by: XMPPwocky on February 29, 2012, 03:16:40 AM By my standards, a small program is about 1000 to 2000 lines of C.
Also, first two customers get a 25% discount. That's just 7.5BTC for a custom app, free of security holes and memory leaks. Title: Re: XMPPwocky codes for coins! Post by: Valalvax on February 29, 2012, 04:38:34 AM Pretty damn good prices... would you also be willing to offer advice/help coding for people who think they know what they're doing but get stuck? Or is that just too much extra work?
Title: Re: XMPPwocky codes for coins! Post by: Garr255 on February 29, 2012, 07:00:27 AM I'm in progress of programming a robot that plays basketball. (http://www.usfirst.org/ (http://www.usfirst.org/)) Free help would be cool.

Then again, there are mentors... Title: Re: XMPPwocky codes for coins! Post by: Garr255 on February 29, 2012, 07:38:39 AM Yup. We have one programming mentor :3
Never mind, I think it will be for the best if I figure it out! Title: Re: XMPPwocky codes for coins! Post by: Valalvax on February 29, 2012, 07:44:37 AM Cool, good luck!
Post videos of it in action once you get it working! Or at least doing some pretty funny glitches :P Title: Re: XMPPwocky codes for coins! Post by: Garr255 on February 29, 2012, 08:39:33 AM Heh, I'm sure there will be a ton. We aren't allowed to touch it until we get to the competition in Portland and we had about 5 hours to troubleshoot the code on an (almost) fully working robot for the first time :P I guess this is good to simulate what will happen in real world situations, which is the ultimate goal of FIRST. Expect videos mid March!
