Everyone in the country has a government ID number. You give the eligible voters two weeks to apply with their ID. Once this time is up the elections registration does a tally and creates a premined coin equal to the amount of voters. Once the coin has been created the voters can generate a wallet. On the day of the vote everyone will go down to the voting booth to show their wallet and ID. The elections registration sends one coin to each individual voter. Each voter then sends their coin to the party leader of their choice. The party leader with the most coins at the end of the vote wins the election. If there are any coins sent to a party leader that have come from a wallet not registered with the elections registration they will be disqualified. It would be great to see this tried on a small scale somewhere but I suspect regulations would make it incredibly difficult.

So the wallet generation would have to work on a trading platform that could carry the coin. As long as you keep your wallet address private the vote stays anonymous. When you show up at the voters booth you show your ID and have your name checked off the application list as receiving a coin. Coins will only have two transactions each. Any more than that and they will be flagged and not counted. The application list is to start a new database of eligible voters, just in case the old list had non existent voters casting ballots. You want your premine to have the exact amount of coins minted as the amount of voters that applied. Everything can be checked and verified on the block chain. |
