Title: Bitcoin in the Philippines - any Pinoys on this forum?
Post by: theblacksquid on July 04, 2014, 01:41:36 AM
Like what I said on the title -

Any Pinoys in this forum? What are you doing with your BTC?
Any BTC events you guys are going to? Looking to set one up?
Any BTC promotional efforts?

Yah its bloody hot down there not the best place for mining although I do recall a few mining centers in a company prospectus or two since the electricity in some parts of the country can be very cheap.
So bad for individuals nice for commercial scale.

Nice work.  BTC should be huge for the Philippines considering Filipinos are 10% percent of the half trillion remittance market.

If bitcoin will be widely adopted by the Philipppines bitcoin price can rise up to $3,000 to $5,000 per bitcoin.
