Title: Why do some rigs prefer diablo or poclbm? Post by: epi 1:10,000 on April 30, 2011, 02:50:20 AM I noticed some Ubuntu ATI rigs/gpu combos will work well w/ m0mchil poclbm and refuse to work with Diablo miner an vice versa. What's up with that? Does anyone have any explanations?

Previous incarnations may have been SPARC machines or even DEC Alphas. Clearly, the SPARC machine would find tranquility in using java in it's current incarnation and reject poclbm. Perhaps the machines were also previously Latin Christians and can't stand operating Diablo. |
