If anyone is interested in Virtual Officespace, now is the time to let me know so planing can be done in advance of the launch. Use it as an advertising tool.
Also, any one who is wanting to write or select some bitcoin literature for the library, shoot me a pm. There is a lot of work to be done and we are still short on man power. Its just a skelton and the very base of one. Bitcoin is a community/peer2peer system, so I want to keep the world design in the same way. The map so far consist of a very dense city center, and the rest is what the people want to build on it.
We got the server online last night after it got shipped to our host. Right now I am in the middle of configuring plugins having a few people work on furnishing and detailing the map. If anyone wants to be creative, I welcome you to pm me with you minecraft name, and I will add you to creative mode and give you the current IP address for the server. Currently out server is a Phenom X4 905e (this will be upgraded to something more along the lines of a xenon or i7 later on. 16gb ram and some freaking fast hdd. Future upgrades will include more servers (Creative, PVP, ect) implantation of the bitcoind client to accept btc for donations and purchasing of items (ie, spend .01 btc to buy a stack of materials), and a few other features I want to make sure are possible before getting some hopes up.
