Title: Game on!
Post by: proudhon on March 19, 2012, 03:29:32 PM
This (http://www.forbes.com/sites/jonmatonis/2012/03/19/could-bitcoin-become-the-currency-of-system-d/) is too awesome an article not to get its own thread.

Critics of bitcoin as a currency are quick to point out that not many merchants accept it as a payment type yet. That will change. And, they also point out that the total available market is severely limited. Oh, how wrong!  Bitcoin’s first potential mega-market just so happens to be the second largest economy in the world and its sole competitor in that sphere is depreciating government paper cash.  Game on (http://youtu.be/-58-36lSqG4?t=3s).

Take a bow Jon Matonis.

Take a bow Jon Matonis.

Unless you mean that sarcastically you should probably use a different picture.  Citizen Kane there is clapping for his talentless girl friend.
I hope our support for bitcoin is of a different nature.  ;)

Back to the subject, that is a good article.

Based on the Crunchbase profile, I'd say there is about a 98% chance he reads these forum threads. So . . .

Hi Jon !!

Given that he posts here quite often I would say that is a good bet.   ;)
