They are all still under warranty from amazon. Barely used and can be restored back to stock rom if need be...

Yes they shipped, I'm not sure how often USPS internation tracking updates, i know its pretty poor. Let me try and track psy's package and see what it says.

<edit> I just tried to track psy's and it says the same thing. If it doesn't update today I'll go back to the post office and start raising hell.

So, what you mean is that I'll only get tracking info when the package is 5Km away from my house and less than 24hrs from delivery?
If that's the case, someone, maybe me, should tell USPS to shove their tracking system up their ass ::)

Thats not true. They can give very exact information. It says for example picked up, entered sort facility, left country x, arrived abroad, entered customs, left customs and so far. But it depends. For most shippments it works well but i also had shippments no info untill the packet arrived.

Normally the tracking updates when it leaves the sort facility.

1 of 2 things happened here

1) since i dropped the packages on saturday, they didnt ship until today.

or

2) There was an issue with the postage and it wasnt shipped (the labels were cropped a little bit, but all relevant info including barcode was there. postmaster said it shouldnt be an issue).

Either way, if it doesnt update by tomorrow morning, You can bet your beans that i'll be on my way to the post office.

My experience with USPS tracking is that usually it works great.  Already in the system 5 minutes after drop off.

But...several times it won't update for days, and it won't have any info until later that night after it was delivered.  A waste of money paying extra for shipping only to be told it was delivered after the fact.
   

This must be one of those cases, because even today there is still no update.

I went to the post office and they told me the packages ship. If there was an issue with the paperwork, they will be sent back, however the delivery address is clearly legible, so im thinking the tracking isnt going to work, but the packages should get there safe and sound. If they dont, the post office is responsible for them, but I doubt it will get to that. Just sit tight and you should both have your kindles soon.

I just shipped out the last one today to Isepick.

I'll see if i can get some more, but for now I'm sold out.

Finally got the update :D tick tock tock. I had more than 20 shippments from the USA to Switzerland and i have never had an issue with USPS. Most times USA to Swiss was faster than from the local airport to my home >:(

I know they're still there. And believe me I'm eager for the Kindle to arrive so you can release the funds to lolwut.
The sad face was more of disappointment with USPS tracking system than doubt about lolwut having sent the Kindle ;)

I received my Kindle Fire today from lolwut. It was well packaged and is running nicely. Downloading apps from the Market now ;)

Oh boy... Wish me luck. The Kindle just got held by Customs for inspection.
Hope I won't have to pay 23% VAT over the Amazon price, which is approximately €150, so around €35 + €8 for administrative costs... Fuckin' thieves :(

Where is your country? Portugal? IMHO I thought most countries do not charge VAT on used stuff like this, especially when it's marked as a gift.

I marked it as a gift and i think i wrote it was broken. you should be fine.

OK. Customs released it. At least that was fast. Now I just have to wait for the postman to bring me my Kindle+Invoice, or in the best case scenario only the Kindle ;D

Allright! Got it and it's working fine. No invoice from customs, which is a good thing. Now I can say I Bought a Kindle Fire using only Bitcoins :D
