Great news in South Africa!
I'm a little curious how the exchange BitX will trade on it's own exchange though?

I just hope that this doesn't end up like the now defunct Kipochi/M-Pesa Bitcoin-fiat transfer system. Africa holds a lot of promise for Bitcoin. But we need to find the best method to utilize that potential.

Nice. I hope bitcoin takes off in the remittance market. The potential is huge there and the benefits are clear.

Seems they also getting a Bitcoin ATM in Cape Town.

Yea 30 000 seems like a small percentage, but it's a huge start and a world first for payment processors.  ;D

Just need to see how they going to regulate it.
