Title: Pooled matrix
Post by: drakahn on March 20, 2012, 06:43:35 PM
I have made an account on btcmatrix for the purpose of testing an idea

http://btcmatrix.com/ref/Pooled
(Make sure it says you were referred by "Pooled")

Sign up with this refer link, then post your username and bitcoin address here, all bonuses paid to the Pooled account will be split amongst its referrals (And it/myself as one share)

so each new user will add 0.10btc to the 'pool' and once the Pooled account is pushed up to the next levels those bonuses will be added as well

This means users that do not want to actively try to get referrals themselves can both be pulled along the Pooled referral chain and also receive payments from new users joining

I cannot guarantee that BTCMatrix will stay up long enough that everyone makes a profit, i have so far by gaining referrals which is why i wanted to test this way, after the first 5 it will be
person 1 paid 0.63, got 0.05, got 0.033, got 0.025, got 0.02, got 0.0166
person 2 paid 0.64, got 0.033, got 0.025, got 0.02, got 0.0166
person 3 paid 0.65, got 0.025, got 0.02, got 0.0166
person 4 paid 0.66, got 0.02, got 0.0166
person 5 paid 0.67, got 0.0166

So you see it will take some time to make your money back on referrals alone, but there are other bonuses for reaching checkpoints that will mean a nice payout every now and then

BTCMatrix doesn't limit how many times you sign up, so add as many usernames as you want and each will count as an individual for this

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvNwaWkDXol-dHJwQjBzM0VyNWR2Q1VBUXdhVEFqQ0E

People that join will be added there when i confirm they joined

and you can check when payments have been received at http://blockchain.info/address/1LHJXrP6u5H6D7ZVB8ctGbV4Vq37GL39JR

i will take tx fee's out of payments, so to minimise how much of a cut the tx fee's are you should choose a minimum payout, default 0.05 - i just use the default client and go by what it says

Well you can get people to join under you (You get the bonus), but they do not join the Pool
Should i use the address in your signature?

Users that want to join the pool should use the link in the OP

Paid your first little bit

You know, i was working it out before, and if 50 users join this pool then you would have received just over 6 bitcoins in bonuses as its first member, and it doesn't really matter what speed they sign up as long as BTCMatrix stays in business

lets get to the 10 bitcoin bonus

i understand everyone under 'Pooled' shares the rewards paid to that actual account, but if for example opticbit1 refers some people directly (not in the pool), does he have to share that with the pool somehow? i guess not (unenforceable), but thought i'd type out the question.

No, only the 'pooled' account is shared

though is someone wanted to they could send btc to pooled's btc address, 1LHJXrP6u5H6D7ZVB8ctGbV4Vq37GL39JR (and let me know to make sure, but i should figure it out lol) and i will distribute it accordingly
