Title: Suggestion For NEW Coin listings
Post by: naughty1 on July 20, 2014, 04:11:52 PM
I Think to be able to list a new coin you should have  say a minimum of 75 posts ( Useful ones)   Also I think the Coin DEvS  should need to send proof into one of the mods here on Bitcoin Forum so they cant HIDE anymore.   and if they did this you would be surprised on how many SH*T coins never hit the market.  Im sure there are other things you people have thought of  but these were just 2 off top of my head.

+1

At some point there will be a "seal of approval" issued by a group of devs that objectively review code.

A post like this rolls around every week or two.

The moderators don't really care what you do unless you break etiquette.

You can fully expect absolutely nothing to be done about this.

All of you might as well just /facepalm yourselves now and get it over with.

Pretty good idea, but mods are faggots and will never adopt something like this, they just don't care.

I'm straight, but yeah, I don't care.

Because they shouldn't.

I don't think that the minimum of 75 posts would work, since account selling is allowed. And if eventually account trading will be forbidden in this forum, accounts will still be sold (for more money) in other forums, so I don't think that this would work. But I agree that this is a starting point

Also I think the Coin DEvS  should need to send proof into one of the mods here on Bitcoin Forum so they cant HIDE anymore

What do you mean proof?  In any case I wouldn't like to have a "coin wrangler", and I doubt that if something like that would be implemented would actually work. But this is only my opinion

You should add a poll to this and let people vote on it!

Why? You think a poll is going to compel them?

Did you not already see they don't care?

I like the idea of a minimum number of posts - but 75 seems a bit high.  I'd be more inclined for 20 or 25.

Who cares? This pops up so many times, but will it help anything? At all?

Straight, but I do care. I care to see all altcoin talk removed from bitcointalk.

I agree with both the OP and majeis.  It is not the job of the forum to regulate crappy alt coins though it would be nice if they did.

Now maybe if they opened up an altcoin forum that would be a very good feature.  It would provide some credibility and trust to the altcoin world.  However, this forum is about bitcoin, and with people offering to  make you a coin  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=672175.0) for as little as .5 bitcoins, I don't think the alt coin deluge is going to let up any time soon.

Nope this won't help. Mostly because the moderators don't care and theymos doesn't care.
I'm pretty sure that this won't roll out at all, nor something similar for quite a long time.
