Title: What was your first bitcointalk post?
Post by: e1ghtSpace on July 26, 2014, 07:05:49 AM
This could be embarrassing....

Here's my first post:
Quote
I don't know how but I DID IT!!!!
I actually found a block within the first 2 minutes of mining. I only had 800 mh/s.
I guess it was because the difficulty was at 191 or something. Now it's probably at 1500.
I also got a rejected one and haven't found anything since.
When I saw that one miner at 345 Ghash I knew I would never get a chance again. Hopefully the chain doesn't fork. Whatever that means. Oh well, Happy Mining!

To find your first ever post, go to your profile by clicking your name, then click "Show the last posts of this person." and click the last page and find the post on the bottom.

Edit: When quoting your post please quote it like this:
Code:
[quote]
<Your Post>
[/quote]

It would be even better if you went to your first post on the forum and clicked the "Quote" button.
You will then be able to copy your quote which would include a link at the top. Unfortunately for me the thread was locked so I couldn't.

I was in the terminology post asking what instamine means. :) hehe

Am I in the right place to ask what the term instamine means? ::)
(i usually see it when describing an alternative cryptocurrency)

Not sure why this was my first post but oh well :P

Did you synchronize your bitcoin wallet? As far as I know if the wallet isn't synchronized then you won't receive bitcoins when you mine. It should say so at the bottom window with how many blocks are remaining.

I meant, it could be embarrassing for other people to post their first post.

Thank you so much, for your hard work. :D
You are very welcome :)

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around this forum for about 2 months and finally decided to make myself known.

I'm currently running 2x5750's and 1x5830 with plans to continually upgrade, unfortunately the funds aren't always readily available but new hardware will be added when feasible.

What up fellow btc enthusiasts.

I have been into bitcoin for about 6 or 7 months now. I have been lurking these forums on and off for about the same amount of time. I'm not really much of a poster when it comes to forums but I do read a lot.

I'm not a miner or techie but I have made some decent profit from trading in the past. I also have a few business ideas I would like to launch this year.

So with all the yada yada outta the way...Hi everyone.

My 7950 survived this, water, bad drivers, bugged games and hundreds of blue screens. But it ended up being killed by some rarely high voltage when I plugged my computer to the wall one day. RIP  :'(

That wasn't so long ago for me.

I heard that as one of those lateral thinking puzzles, some time ago. It was something like, the judge would not send a woman to jail even though it was an obvious case, and the reason was because it would jail her sister as well.

here is my first one. someone was asking about candlestick charts....

green = price going up, red = price going down, each stick is a given time span. the bars coming from the bottom are telling you how much volume (how much was bought or sold, denominated in bitcoins)

 :)

Hi@all!!

I just joined the community here to find some answers to my Bitcoinquestions I have.

Im curious about the new AsicHardware...The Mercury(kncminer) would be the only one i could afford and seems to be legit about the shipping as far as i could read about it in another Forum.
But after their first Batch they will cutting of prices as far as i understood from their last update...so the question is...should i wait...or how much will they reduce the price then?
Or will the early order (they will ship in October if ordered now) compensate the following/announced markdown?

Maybe we can discuss this in that Thread later...:

And i hope my English is not too bad - im from Germany ;-)

Couldnt afford a whole machine for myself so i ended up buying a very few shares in groupbuys
