Cops lie of course, but this one is actually brazen enough to lie in front of a television news crew. Actually now that I watch it, this isn't the original video. This douchebag has pieced it together in all the wrong order and is incorrectly claiming that the blonde woman (who is a cop) works for the Dept. of Transportation. Sure, there is a law. But for what? It is probably there to make sure fire trucks can easily access a burning house, not so that sour/snotty neighbours with no kids can remove a neighbours basketball net. What is the world coming to? You North Americans complain about obesity, and yet you remove every possible means of exercise within city limits? Want to ride your bike? Do it on the road. Want to rollerblade? Do it on the road. Want to play basketball? Buy your own court. Want to play hockey? Buy some ice time. (They just recently banned hockey on city streets in Toronto, which is insane.) |
