Game of the Week - On-chain parimutuel

Our showcase offering is the Game of the Week - a battle between two teams for control of the gameboard (see here (https://btc.waroflife.com/gow/20/)).  It is controlled by the blockchain and lasts for 1,000 blocks.  Your goal is to wager on the side that you think is going to gain ground and take as much of the other bettor's money as you can.  You can advance this goal by buying bombs for your team to help wipe out the opposition.

Minigame - Account based against the house

If you're looking for some quick fun, try the minigames.  This game uses James Conway's classic Game of Life  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conway's_Game_of_Life) ruleset for a fast result.  You can invite friends to play with you as you bet on Chaos or Order - will the battle stabilize or will it rage on?

Fair and Secure

Every game is provably fair.  The Game of the Week gets randomness from future blocks - no one can know the outcome.  Minigames use server and player seeds to keep things honest.  All the rules are specified on the website, and all coins are held in cold storage.

I've seen quite a few of these bombs end up hurting their cause for great lulz. Cellular automata can be cruel, yet fair beasts.

I haven't seen any giveaways or referral stuff yet, but they did run their beta using Altcoin (http://therealaltcoin.org/) and have kept Altcoin based games going so if you want to play with a large number of coins while risking less value that's an option.

The Game of the Week is seeded with bets from the house to kick things off.  Other than that, you have to earn your winnings from other bettors!
