Same here, yesterday, when I set up a new account for a new venture. I'm still waiting for the email to confirm the account. I think they're blocking Bitcoin related links. Try some mundane link. Post by: DooMAD on August 04, 2014, 06:22:52 PM Can help but wonder if this is some sort of genuine concern over suspicious links, or just a ham-fisted attempt at censorship. Disconcerting news if they're blocking links with no good reason. Quite glad I never bothered getting an account there. Maybe they want people to start using twister (http://twister.net.co/) instead.

If that is true, it leaves a very bad taste.... :-\ I don't use twitter, but I think it is not unrealistic to assume that governments try to influence public opinion at services like twitter through censorship and content manipulation. I've not noticed any problems did you try contacting their support? Hopefully it is just a glitch and not some kind of censorship is all I can say. EDIT: It worked, then I deleted it. Must have been a glitch the other day, albeit I'm not yet able to confirm via email the new account because I've yet to receive the email from Twitter.
