Yeah, definitely getting the feeling that we could be here for a while yet
In that sense, yes it does feel that way

The speculation sub is more adequate for discussions like this.

Something like that, the infrastructure & adoption is at least 10x higher from 1 year ago.

Bitcoin touched 50 for all of three days in its entire price history.  This could be more like 13 or 100.

I don't think that the value will rise 10x this year, but in my opinion a x4 or x5 could be reached.

No one would have bet in bitcoin's 2013 bubble, they said it was died.
Maybe this year the story will repeat another time.

500 is the new 100. We were around 100 for nearly 5 months last year. Maybe the same this year. Who knows!

Yes, in the last summer we were stagnating at $100 for months after the bubble of April,
now we have been in the 500/600$ range enough and it's time to move on... :)

I feel like it's more like $120. We hung out there for such a long time. Bitcoin is finally stable, they said.

We know there is a strong resistance at 400 level. And the cost of each coin will go up every 2 weeks.

So the risk of buying at 400-500 is low.

Would you like to explain it further.. If you are saying that everyone who buys btc will eventually sell and create selling pressure , that might happen but it will first take btc to new heights.
Merchant adoption is going on a good rate if same reflects with and buyers prefer btc that will help.

Man I hope so, it' would silence alot of the trolls that's for sure..  I'm tired of the random sky is falling threads with no basis for making such claims.  The amount of positive news far out ways the negative yet people still say Bitcoin is doomed.  If it's not falling then its a bubble in their eyes.  ::)

It definitely would be great if it turned out that way! I think most people here hope that bitcoin will continue its rise. But we can't know that. Who knows, maybe everyone wished they bought at $585 in a few months or a year! But we could also need further capitulation and panic first.

The only basis is people that missed the boat wanting to lower the price to get in big, then start big upping Bitcoin like there's no tomorrow  ::)

Those people know they fucked up by not buying when they learned about it first. Now they compensate their fear of missing out with a complete anti-bitcoin agenda.

Whatever works for people I guess...

I don't think they're exactly comparable, but I have a feeling we're going to be in this range for a long time.

Bitcoin touched 50 for all of three days in its entire price history.  This could be more like 13 or 100.

I see it as the new 100 too, or actually as the new 120 because I think we had more stability there.
