If you want a serious start please forget about free bitcoins as faucets won't make you earn too much ...
And there is nothing for free.

Faucets are offering small shares for clicking ads/visiting sites etc.   This is a waste of time.

It is much easier and faster to earn some coins by completing tasks for bounties.

Try to look for something suitable for you at # services section and also reddit -> jobs4bitcoins.

Well. If you have skills in something you can sell them on this very forum.
some people put up bounties for you to do things.
There are also lots of sites that give out free bitcoins for doing surveys and such so that's a thing.

No way of easy money. I have tried and looked and even asked in the time I have been working with bitcoin and I even got the same answer each time. Your best bet is to offer a service you know you can fulfil and state that you wish to be paid using bitcoin. There are many people out there who will want something doing and will be willing to pay in bitcoin.

Try freebitco.in and also bitcoinzebra.com for free faucets that acctually pays out a decent amount, for people starting in bitcoin.

But you should not concentrate on this, as the sole source of income generated with BTC

Try to sell something for BTC or sell your skills, on this forum. Also try to join a signature campaign and gain some BTC by posting on this site.

No site is completely free of some activity, but some require more than others. You can earn like 0.0001 BTC a week from faucets, by typing captcha codes. There are sites which allow you to view advertisements for BTC, I recall you can get 0.00006 BTC for doing that all day. There is the reddit jobs section, in which you can earn and of course the best one,  bitcointalk itself  :)

You are not likely to obtain 'free' bitcoin in any sense.

Just buy them.

There are a dozen of faucet sites that you can a tiny tiny amount of bitcoin, but the pay rate is just too low.
You will probably just get a few penny an hour for entering captcha and watching ads.
If you are looking to earn some bitcoin, you should try to sell products and services instead.

I have also heard about such kind of signature campaign. But i don't think it is a good way of earning BTC. Through this kind of campaign you can earn very small amount of BTC.

When you are just at newbie rank, you can only get 4000 satoshi per post, but when you are at member rank, you can get 40000 satoshi.

I wouldnt recomend faucets at all, I've been using them for some time back then but  I saw that they are useless when I singed for a campaign here. But still if you want some for gambling, you can use these sites:

It is good to combine freebitco.in with coinurl and then put that shortened link, so you also get btc when someone views your ad

The best way to earn money on these forums are signature campaigns, primedice is the way to go if you post a lot. I'd you know how to program you can make a killing by working for people.

yes they are very slow, maybe 0.01$ per day - or even less. faucets is not the best way to get btc, but better than nothing.

The days of free bitcoins are just about over. Faucets are a waste of time now, and giveaways are scarce. People have realized the great value of their BTC! If you want in, I'd roll whatever fiat you can into it. Sell stuff to buy BTC. Sell your services online (online freelancing, writing, coding, etc). You can also sell your signature space on the forum -- though as a newbie, it's worth very little.

The days of decent faucets are long gone.
At this point it is a complete and utter waste of time.

Use your fiat cash to buy BTC and you will make money by Xmas.

my favourite faucet is moonbit, you dont have to spend all day writing captcha and wait every period of time, it will added to your faucet although you didnt claim it, just check it out

Hey and welcome to the forum!!! You can earn a few Bitcoins by using a faucet. They give you BTC for clicking on advertisements or solving Captchas. But they don't give you a lot. You can just play around with those BTCs. If you want more BTC the best way would be to get a small job and earn some money and buy some BTC on an exchange, man!

Keep away from faucet sites. Maybe if you haven't gotten your hands on Bitcoin at all they could help you to get a few Satoshis, but just go and buy some on an exchange. You could start with something like $10 USD or something!

With faucets, you can probably just get a 0.1 mbtc a day and so I don't think you can actually get a few bitcoin. :)

Yes, if you get say 0.001 BTC per day, it would still take 1000 days (about 3 years) to get 1 BTC. That would be if price doesn't go up. Anyway, it's more than nothing. Most faucets payless than that however. ;)

Not entirely true, I get paid 0.05 btc every month with my current sig campaign, not a huge amount but still adds up to something. Only have to make 50 posts a month which isn't much hassle been as I'm posting on the forum anyway.

Both captcha solving and faucets are very low paying compared to time put into it.  I honestly suggest learning a skill with that time, it won't pay off right away.  But if you get decent at coding, images, videos, etc.   You will make FAR more overtime.

In the end captcha and faucets just don't pay much.  So I consider it a waste of time for most.

wow 70 cents for 1000 captchas that is just too low. your time is so much more valuable than this. you can even take a typing job and type documents to earn way more money.

Yeah, most of the faucets out there are legit. Look for faucetbox faucets in particular, because they are developed using the faucetbox system, you basically have this escrow system to protect you.

Another very legit faucet is freebitco.in. They also are a pretty reputable casino.

If you want to earn some free bitcoins try to do some faucets there you can earn bitcoin easily but very time consuming.

Yeah truly faucets were time consuming, but most of the faucets and captcha solving were legit. In my view our forum has given the opportunity to earn a reasonable amount through signature campaign.

if a you are a member or above just join a signature campaign and you will earn a decent amount of bitcon on daily basis.

You can try those faucets out there , and also you can find new faucets at service announcents the go to micro earning theres a lot of new faucets that are posted on that section . And i guess theres a signature campaign that is available for newbies and that is 777 coin i dont know if you are interested to participate to them . But theres no lost if you will try but remember signature campaigns are not giving a free btc you are getting paid on every constructive post you made .

Getting referrals for faucets is really a tough job these days as no one is interested in faucets anymore because everyone knows that it is just a waste of time in long run, so they are just moving to other methods of collecting bitcoins rather than wasting their time on faucets.

There are still many people using bitcoin faucets, especially newbies, who are starting from scratch. But it's realy hard to get many referrals, because there are many faucet list and rotators on the net, actualy  I think more than existing faucets.

there was a time when there were only one or two faucet rotators and only one micro payment called microwallet back then it i was profitable to advertise your rotators referral link to gain some referalsl which would click all the list with your bitcoin address as their referrer but these days it no longer works anymore.

You are already in the legit site. All you need to do now is to be active to build some post quality and starting to gain some activity so that you can rank up to member rank and therefore you can start choosing and joining the signature campaign that you like and you can earn up to 0.0026 per day if you still active and posting daily :). Also there are a lot of ways to earn bitcoin here you can also try to offer some service to other members like programmers and other skills that you think you can offer to get paid in btc.

You cannot find any better and legit site like bitcointalk, as it is the best and most trusted site to earn bitcoins, its genuine and you can trust it even with closed eyes.

I think there are less and less using faucets.  Most when I think do it then within a day or two realize how horrible pay rate is, and  stop using them.  They see they don't win the "jackpot" mentioned on them they get low value dust payments.   And some use to get a little free to  play with.  But both I think  are not continued users of faucets.  You will have a hard time finding someone who sticks with using faucets.

Now getting referrals is very hard not to mention on faucets. I have trouble posting  a referral link to a faucet knowing others would be wasting time, and I would not do faucet's myself even.   But even if you were willing to try to spread referral links you are competing with people who already have a base of users which is going to be hard to go up against.  Not to mention new way is to do a "faucet rotator" instead of individual referral links.
