Some words of praise for the hacker....
The researchers were impressed by the ingenuity of the hacker, saying it was a “great idea”, at least from a criminal perspective.

But wait, there's more! "As many as 8,000 Dogecoins, equivalent to $1.42, were lost as a result of the hack."  (No kidding, that's a real quote from the story).

Apart from bitcoins and dogecoins, he also mined HoboNickels and WorldCoins. I am presuming the value of this would be less than $1.42, as it wasn't even mentioned.  :P

They did not use SSL so what did they expect? Some of these operators have no clue... They take out of the box solutions and think it's secure if they use default values.  :(

Do the basics right, and you half way covered.

They got a nice amount, wonder how much it will be worth in a few years
