I used waffle pool when I dabbed by foot in scrypt based mining and they are someone that I would recommend. For the few months that I was using them, they were able to pay out everyday and generally earned more then the expected value of the hashpower that I was providing the pool. It is pointless to run a gpu 24/7 with the current lack of profitability. Mining new coins, you will end up as a bagholder for lots of them, but the ones that make it will make more than enough to cover the losses from the bags of worthless coins.
