I've had the same stupid avatar for like a year and a half...and I can't change it!

Avatar changing is disabled for security reasons, and will be restored when the new forum software comes to live.

And you can ask a mod to remove if avatar, but can't put a new one.

LOL, it wasn't a stupid avatar when you put it there, hehe. But at least you have one... I wish I did.

I think we should be able to change our avatars once the new forum software comes out. I think there was a security flaw in being able to use avatars so they made it so we cannot change them.

avatars are a matter of prestige now

I am also waiting for these to enable again but admin saying wait until new software ready for this forum  :(

I feel WWIII will struck before the new forum comes out, and  who knows we might not need it then.

A asian man named Kim Flay Ming Long, will become President of the U.S in the year 3014, before the new forum software comes out.

I believe it's due to be implemented once the second $350,000 of the the $1M contract is paid. For those who think this post is a joke, the jokes on you.

Avatars are planned to come back with the new forum software. So it is virtually perma removed, since I can't see the new forum software being launched this century

When the new forum software is installed, supposedly. But that may be a long ways off. Will cost millions of dollars apparently. I guess I'm stuck with my "bottlecaps" avatar LOL...

Yes, And It would be good if we could not only change but have an avatar too, because I would love to have one.

Indefinitely. No worries. How important are avatars, anyway? Getting locked out of the forum for a few days when it got hacked sucked.... was glued to the Speculation forum at the time. :)

Its better to keep system like this otherwise we can be hacked again.

Hahaha, your avatar is sure looking nerdy, man! Who's that??? I still like my avatar, why wouldn't I... But I guess it's bad for people who put their avatar just for fun and a limited amount of time and got locked on that avatar then... Hahah...
