Post here if you're looking to set up a Primedice PvP match. This thread is mainly for users trying to find bigger stake matches as they're harder to come across without pre organizing the bets.


Post a range you're willing to do (Eg. 0.1 BTC - 2 BTC), your Primedice username & a desired contact method.

There is no max bet and no house edge on PvP :)

And even thou there is no site that pays mods , i actually earned alot on pd by doing some other stuff for them and i always got way overpaid . So there is also a nice profit for me.

i found a way to profit on pvp

its really simple! :)also a little luck is needed

yes there is luck at begging but if you carefull analyse
every high pvp roller you can win easily
for example if you lose 3 or 4 times in a row and the next guy you want to play already won 2 times

your chance of winning is 90% :)

Nope , that is not correct. Ur chance is 50% every time u play it. Even if u lost 100 times in a row before that, ur chance is still 50% on the next one.

Dice , nor pvp seed doesn't remember ur previous roll , and it doesn't care if u lost 1000 times in a row, that still doesn't improve ur chance of winning next one :) .

I was looking forward to pvp but haven't been able to get on the site long enough to try it out so when all the bugs are gone I'll be open to playing some matches.

Is pvp currently disabled/bugged? I tried organizing a pvp match with another user on primedice, after both of us challenging eacother a couple of times each we came to the conclusion our challenges weren't being displayed to the other person. Hope this can get fixed soon, I really love pvp and want to get back into it!

Try if refresh page will help. Most of the issues are caused by sockets still not functioning properly . Dev is pretty sure he will be able to finally get to the bottom of it tomorrow.

This PvP feature is simply amazing lol. I've only used small amounts (<0.001) but have had a lot of fun. Darn you dakotabank...

Yeah it is so much fun. I hope we will soon see some real high rollers duel each other. :) . And have it working flawlessly . Coz atm sockets causing some challange notificatons to not show.

Hm, primedice doesn't seem to be loading for me.  It is just a blank screen (with the dark blueish background).
Any suggestions?  No error text either.

It works just fine for me. You could always try a force reload (CTRL-F5). I hope that helps.

If you are using safari/IE that could be the issue.

Nope, I'm using google chrome.  On a very old computer though, that may be the problem (getting a new comp soon).

The thing is, when i tried it yesterday (right after launch) it worked fine. :-/

There is no profit made by PD on PVP games, so why is PD is so stupid to make it so call "not fair" ?     ;D

Yeah pvp is there more for fun and entertaiment. Pd doesnt make any profit out of it.
But it rly is so much fun. Fun to play and fun to watch people play it and theirs reactions :) .
I just dont know why i so suck at that game. I won maybe like 3 out od 10 games. :D

Idk about them but everytime i won pvp i did tip what i won back to my oponent.
Maybe not everytime if i done couple of pvps at same time but yeah most of the time.

I think nobody is blind here, we can read normal font just fine.

As for pvp, if u implaying that they will scam players with it, by betting against them and win all the time, that is so funny. Pd was around for ages , Stunna and pd never scammed nobody. If they wanted to profit on pvp they could done it in so many different ways, one that involves dev sitting on pvp all day beating other people is just not one of them . :D .
And that wouldn't work for so many reasons.

We're 100% aware of this currently.

PvP is currently in BETA stage. We're seeing the response we get.

There's soon to be a "Non instant" mode whereby your duel goes to "Pending". It will remain in this state until the next block comes in. When this block comes in the rolls are created using each users seeds & the block hash. Both players seeds will be revealed before this happens.

It will either be that method, or using another 3rd party output to add another level of randomness to the rolls, any ideas?

the idea of waiting for next block looks abit turn off as the wait for block might be quite long. Most of us at the moment is just having some quick fun, waiting will spoilt the fun :)

This will be optional. When you challenge someone you choose between instant & non instant :)

that will be nice if it is optional.. more choices for the gamblers.. LOL

Yeah so if u know that player u are playing against, u just do instant duel, if u want more security u do 100% failproof option. :) . I like that idea.

Yeah there is no house edge on pvp. And all pvp matches over .001 btc are shown on pvp chat, by bot pvp highrollers.

How do I challenge people? Just ask around in the chat if anyone wants to bet?

Yeah u can do that but to actually chalange somebody u need to click on theirs username in pvp chatroom, and then on challange.

What if they don't want to? Best to ask first surely?  :D Is there a way to stop people from challenging you? People could spam you with requests.

U will recive notification on chat when semebody challanges u. U can click on it to acept or just ignore it. And if somebody spams u with challanges u can just ignore them with /ignore command and u wont get any notifications from them.

Pd doesn't rly want u to play pvp , since there is nothing for house in that :D .
Its just one fun feature ,and u can use it just for fun to play with friends, or try to profit with it playing 50/50 with no house edge.

As for the font, its not about hiding anything LOL . Everybody can read normal font just fine :D .
Its just if everybody would use fonts and colors like that this forum would be such a mess and unreadable.

Why does PD3 even offer pvp if there's no house edge?  Just wondering what's in it for them, as they say.

I've dice dueled best360noscope a few times and I'm down roughly 45 coins. So yeah, I don't fancy losing even more to him.

I'm also fairly certain that Stunna has made 1 BTC the max bet for PvP as PvP is not provably fair.

Unfortunately I don't, but the duels we did 2-3 days ago where we did a 10 BTC duel and a 9 BTC duel went something like this :
10 BTC duel - Best360noscoper : 95     Stars : 25
9 BTC duel - Best360noscoper : 28      Stars : 24

Well some idea is to use hash of bitcoin block .
So to play pvp u post challenge , somebody accepts it , and then u have to wait for next block to be mined for challenge to go though .

Not the best way to do it but so far i think its only possible idea.

They might come up with something better . We will see.
