As Cranky4u mentioned above, these type of questions really can't be answered with such limited information.

It really depends on the web development experience (i.e HTML, CSS, JavaScript, scripting language of choice, JSON, XML, SOA etc) and resources (i.e hosting) you have or have readily available to you.

Since you've asked the question in the first place, I dare say that you would need to seek external development. One tip I will give is, ensure you have a detailed project brief before progressing any further. Otherwise, you may be taken for a long, expensive ride.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

What my plan for the potential website is there will be only a few pages. The index page is going to be like the website mentioned, but with more rounded look for each 'rank'. When the visitor clicks on the 'rank' for example, Bitcoin, the rank will be pushed down by bitcoin's graph (with different time frames).

Im also planning if the first page can use filter function to help the visitor find his/her coin.

2nd page may be something like 'vote for the next coin to be logged'...

Footer can link to the potential bitcointalk thread for the website if any.

If the developer can become part of the web team that would be great. of course he will get paid for the work, it's just how much.

thanks

Yes, it's hard.

You'll need to run daemons of each coin you have to get the coin cap and supply as well as have the price updated from bittrex/some exchange hourly.

TL;DR I dont think you earn profit from running a website like Cryptocoinrank

Having a full-time developer wouldn't come cheap.

I'd recommend looking into getting a bit more information about running websites and being a webmaster. Having a Web Developer/Web Master hold your hand the entire way will become very costly.
