Easy: http://bitmarket.eu

That way, you can sell and buy bitcoins and be paid with IBAN transfers (which are legally not more expensive than any national wire transfer).

Only warning: don't release the bitcoin as long as you don't see the money on your account.

If you want to sell them quickly, I might buy them for euros. Tell me how much and at which price by PM.

Since CoinCard isn't functional anymore, I tend to do my trades via bitmarket.
Although there is one other option left, and that is a mtGox bank transfer for sums over 800$ [US only?]...not sure how that works though -> there doesn't seem to be any option indicating this on the site.

mtgox is working well for European people because they have an European bank account. The only problem is that they use dollars, which means that you will loose some money in the dollars->euro conversion.

But it could worth the trouble.

You can fork my website, check out on my signature.   It's fully open source:  http://s0.barwen.ch/~grondilu/cgi-bin/eurobitcoin.cgi?show_source=yes

Basically you'll just have to translate it into italian.

Buy things on biddingpond.com.   Oftentimes you'll see people selling cash on there.

ploum: You don't lose money in the mtgox conversion. Your Euro are just displayed as dollars. Your Euros stay in a Euro account

For the USD->EUR exchange we apply ECB's raw rate as published on [ecb euroxref]. It should be quite lossless. We do however have some troubles with the bank billing us incredible fees to get stuff working.

Thats weird, transaction costs within SEPA zone should be absolutely minimal :o
Are you potentially considering taking down the Euro withdrawal service from mtGox in the future for any reason? [such as high costs]
I hope not :)

SEPA wires are =~free, it's the currency exchange part that is heavily charged

Thought the same for transfers inside EU, but I was informed are not free in all countries. EU law says only they are allowed to cost as much as national transfers. However, in most cases the should be free.

Since we manage large amount of funds with a really high cash flow (funds gets in and out quite fast), we are charged 0.4% for any cash move (incoming SEPA, outgoing SEPA, etc). There is also processing fees for automated batch, and all the misc stuff (customs declaration fees, and more).

I am evaluating possibilities to move this to something cheaper, and negociating with various banks so we can (hopefully) offer a cheaper service for our customers one day.

Same story here - I am pretty new to the system and have been generally just mining on my prepaid university electricity :P I used to sell my bitcoins at coincard, but since it shut down I don't know where to sell them :( Biggest problem is I currently only have a paypal account (no bank account sorta,or at least not mine). Can you recommend me something ?

w/o a bank account you're pretty much screwed dude...its the basis for everything in the world :o
study first, grow up, pay for your elec. like everybody here does and don't rip taxpayers money off by using it that way..then come back :)

First of, I don't see why exactly do I need to have finished studying to use BitCoins?  Second, I DO pay for electricity in a way that it is included in my insane priced rent. I honestly got really pissed by your cheap ass and aggressive comment that doesn't provide absolutely ANYTHING useful except for pure puberty aggression. Thanks for your time, but your lame remarks are of no help to no one. Go learn some basic communication ethics, get a brain and come back.  :)

does amazon.com ship to Italy? You could order amazon gift cards at btcbuy.info (http://btcbuy.info) and just use them instead of money
