Post by: mxmxmx on August 19, 2014, 10:24:29 PM
Hi there.
I am trying to start mining so I bought the Antminer S3. While setting up my wan connection. I un-checked the "Disable DHCP for this interface" and now I cant conect via ethernet to the miner using the default Ip(192.168.1.99) Can somone please help me fix this frustrating issue?
Thank You

Do an 'IPConfig /all' check on your network or run an IPnetwork mapping program. Cmd prompt escapes me right now but in windows it is under the networking options. It does a mass mapping of immediate interfaces. From there you can double check what the IP is for the ANT miner....you probably just had fat fingers when you manually defined the IP port.

You can go through devices connected to your router.

Worst case scenario is use the reset button on S3 and let it go back to factory.
