Quote How do I install the latest firmware? - Download firmware as above. Navigate to System -> Upgrade and click "browse". Select the downloaded file and click "Flash image". Do NOT interrupt this process or you will brick the unit. from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=702653 Title: Re: S3 Firmware Update Post by: spazzdla on August 20, 2014, 01:26:55 PM im curious to know this too did you look through its admin menus ? nothing to point ot firmware updates ? Why you can't silence it completely without desoldering the speaker, that I do not know.

Although the #1 priority is making it work soo I'd rather an working S3 lol. Bitmain is ggggggggggggreat! I haven't heard a peep or a beep from any of my S3s since the very first firmware update Bitmain issued (I've got batch 1, batch 4 and batch 5 units). I'm curious to know under what circumstances you are still getting the beeps. I was under the impression that the phenomenon had been successfully identified and corrected. Thanks! |
