I have to say that I don't agree with the direction GGBTC (http://www.reddit.com/r/GirlsGoneBitcoin/) is heading. I think that in order for this project to continue being successful, we need to make it a welcoming, sex-positive environment for a broader range of women. We women don't just want to trade bitcoin for cash, or buy lingerie and lipstick. We want to be empowered, entrepreneurial contributors to a beautiful economic explosion of awesomeness.

We need bitcoin to come full circle...stretch its legs and set new boundaries. I propose creating a new subreddit that encompasses a "by the women, for the women" philosophy (men welcome too of course). In addition to gorgeous nude photography for micro-payments, we can share bitcoin educational videos, women's health issues, support bitcoin micro-business ideas through donations, and even raise funds for causes such as Breast Cancer, etc.  Neither stripcoin nor pimps further the progression of women's empowerment, so we need to be careful about branding.

I'm personally interested in making the following sexy educational videos:

• How to cash out on Mt.Gox and other exchanges
• How to buy/sell goods on bitmit
• Wallet guides for blockchain.info, strongcoin.com, bitmit, and instawallet
• How to generate QR codes
• Why firstbits are awesome and how to use them

Any ideas/feedback? Much appreciated!

Personally, I think the tease of sex sells more.

I think you might be better off creating two distinct sites/subreddits; one focusing on appreciation of the female form and one "by the women, for the women". Profits and endorsements from one can be used to support the other.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm sure the two aren't mutually exclusive, but "sexy" educational videos will probably draw a large male audience who might not all be as likely to visit and participate in the rest of the philosophy.

Maybe, Ladybytes there is still room to collaborate together and help out and inspire bitcoin women to succeed in bitcoin through bitcoin education for new ideas maybe like a women.gonebitcoin.com off-shoot ? The sub-reddit is a good idea I highly suggest you do this.

disliked the whole stripcoin thing myself. I didnt understand why it was needed all that information could of been linked to and made directly on reddit under r/girlsgonebit. Glad to see you girl(s) taking the initiative. Looking forward to those videos. Going to need to send out a few more bitcoins.

I agree that the pimp flair on GGBTC is kind of skeezy. Watching. 

I really dislike the increased Stripcoin.com branding plastered everywhere on the subreddit.

lol, wut? How does one create a subreddit "girlsgonebitcoin" before their username? I was there first, he tried to claim it and take it a different direction that my intentions. Otherwise, I would not be the mod who banned him for continuing in that other direction.


And for this, StripCoin will continue on course as planned. StripCoin may succeed, or it may fail. But one thing is for sure, these beautiful genies have been released from the bottle and Bitcoin will be forever changed and better for it. Good luck to everyone's Bitcoin endeavour!!!

Or maybe it doesn't need two subreddits. We just need a place where women can continue posting pictures, but instead of being pimped, they can be guided by fellow women. To clarify, I think GGBTC is a great idea, it just needs a woman's touch.

I think the split is a great idea... It has worked quite well for evolution since the beginning of time. If there is ANY thing I can do to help you with another project, I would love to assist. But I believe there needs to be the stripcoins of the world along with the thing you describe. The world is a big place and both can flourish.

The direction had nothing to do with LadyBytes. I've already stated I approve of her direction. Shit, I even approve of GirlsGoneBitcion.info direction. The problem was that (derp edit: you) he was very one dimensional: Girls. I wanted to focus on everyone doing this. Males, Females, Couples. That's why I went with a more generic domain "Stripping" and I could make use of reddits domaining feature and link my "educational" site to the different subdomain subreddits girls.stripcoin.com for /r/girlsgonebitcoin, guys.stripcoin.com to /r/guysgonebitcoin and couples.stripcoin.com to /r/couplesgonebitcoin.

One dimensional ? I provided a forum and was adding solutions to things Ladybytes  mentioned above for both girls/guys/dogs/cats  how is that one dimensional? I referred everything back to the reddit thread and never claimed to go "off" somewhere else. We both agreed I could provide some sort of "Help" I even suggested  thread specifically for this with just the handle "girlsgonebitcoin" used there only out of respect but you blew me off so I went ahead and did what I intended to do and you decided to ban me.  :-[

So in other words everything has to be funneled through your website for your branding reasons would this be correct ? Just want clarification and transparency for everyone here then I'll move on.

If the answer is yes you need to put that on the side bar so the community knows the thread is solely owned by stripcoin brand and stripcoin website properties and everything inside the thread is owned by it.

Since I came up with this idea and created the subreddits, yes, I would like the privilege of branding it the way I like. I enjoy teaching these things and thats part of my motivation for investing so much time in this. I dont have any ads, I'm not charging fees so yes, this is what I ask everyone let me do as my "tip" for teaching people about this.

I agree bitcoin seems very male dominated and for bitcoin to succeed well over half the world is female.  You could set up a women's group on - http://www.coinconnect.org/ (http://www.coinconnect.org/) - the first bitcoin social network.  In the groups created on CoinConnect you can add blog posts, bookmarks, files, discussions and lots of other stuff too.

LadyBytes, I encourage you to do more videos. The first one was charming, you have really a great tone of voice and attitude to do these, and you should! Maybe just cut the "naked" part so you can get these on youtube.

Stripcoin and Pimpcoin are great ideas, but those are developed with a man-perception of women. Having a "project" developed with a women-perception of women could be really interesting.

Makes a lot of sense to separate commerce from content. LadyBytes thinking about the commerce end of the business is a sound one and will likely result in a higher caliber and classier outcome. 

Similarly, it makes a lot of sense to create woman's oriented content which is decidely different. For example one of the largest sales forces on earth is Avon, and women tend to be the most avid users of Facebook. Women also take the lead in the day-to-day purchase of food and clothing as well as healthcare. So clearly, BTCs need equal access to flourish.

Initially, makes sense to colocate, as the community grows, not so much.

And I believe those are really good topics. As long as you can do videos to help introduce Bitcoin, you have good topics. Since you're new around here, I would suggest to probably just use your own experience like you did in your first video. All the new people are usually going to have the same type of problems, so, if you have a problem, or you discover something interesting, the chances that it matters for somebody else are pretty high.

Also, I don't want to force you into a "you need to do that and that", because we still need pioneers that can try something that have never been tried before. Cute and sexy videos about Bitcoin is something to explore, so...go ahead! :)
