Title: [WTB] Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 or 890FXA-UD5 Motherboards
Post by: mc_lovin on April 03, 2012, 05:24:33 PM
Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase some of the "bamt incompatible" Gigabyte boards.

If you look at the bamt hardware compatibility list (http://bamter.org/redmine/projects/bamt/wiki/Hardware_Compatibility_List), these Gigabyte boards are impossible (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28967.msg450317#msg450317) to boot from USB and people who use BAMT for bitcoin mining probably would want to switch to another board type.

I have another use for these boards and the USB booting problem is not an issue.

So if you have one of these boards, post here or PM me with what you want for it, including shipping to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, R3B 1B6.

Hi!

I am selling a Gigabyte board:

But it is not a UD3, it is D3...

In the following thread I list all the parts of my current mining rig which is for sale:

PS:
I have never had any usb boot problems with the Gigabyte board. I have a Linux OS installed on a usb stick...
