Title: 6990 question
Post by: yochdog on April 11, 2012, 01:42:04 AM
what is the general consensus on 6990's?  Are they reliable miners?  Power consumption too high?  Are they needing constant attention?

Just started in on my first ones, and I am looking for some info.

More power for less hash compared to 5970s.

No, 6990s mine faster than 5970s. But they have a lower Mh/J.

OK I should have said WAY more power for a tiny bit more hash, but yeah, they are less efficient.
