damm ICQ that's a blast from the past. I have not logged into my ICQ account in over 10 years

I had no idea they're still up :)   And before ICQ there was IRC and ISCABBS (a version of Citadel BBS). :)

I have a 436xxx, I am racking my brain for the password though, I remembered it once before after five years of disuse. This would be like 1996 maybe? At least "email password" revealed I still remember the correct number since it showed an old email of mine (god knows why).

You can buy low ICQ numbers from Russian sellers, they usually have good low numbers in stock (if you can afford them).
2 BTC ($10) can only get you a long ICQ number with nice pattern (ex. 18256182).

You can also try your luck at "guessing" passwords using automated software system, it may take a long time, but you can be rewarded if you have a good list to "guess" from.

yea my number starts 24  just can I hell remember my password and appar my account is so old I cannot recover password

hehe, how everybody is trying to get there ICQ passwords :P

I still prefer to buy from someone trustworthy, as I dont want to buy a stolen UIN or one that was used to spam.

damn tried to recover mine from like 15 yrs ago... couldnt remember the email address I would of used then :(

 I have a 5 digit, but there is no way in hell I will be able to recover it. I actually have 2 of them. 1 is 79XXX and the other is 93XXX. Now you got me going and trying.

 Then again, they may have been 6 digit. It was 1997 I do remember that, and I had an AOL account and thought I was hot shit screaming the internet on a 33.6 connection.

But you should know, that its impossible changing password on 6 and 5 digits numbers. So, you will have to use password that I will give.

7 and 8 digits numbers have no problems with password.
