Title: [resolved] A request for Jered@Tradehill to pay my brother's bitcoins back.
Post by: deego on April 19, 2012, 03:32:28 AM
Hi Jered

When I first heard of bitcoin, I made my brother invest $500 in bitcoins via tradehill, and he bought some 40-50 btc at tradehill.

As I and my brother both emailed you with all the details,  and as I requested on skype over the last 4-5 days, can you please pay my brother's bitcoins back to him to the address we emailed you?

I didn't hear back from you regarding any of these numerous requests. I know you must be swamped with such requests, so it's understandable.

It's nice to see Tradehill come back and process some of the other withdrawal requests. I would really appreciate it if you can process the above one as well.

Thanks.

Woke up to find coins received.
----

Once again, trying to get the coins and trying to get the request acknowledged wasted more hours than it's worth, was extremely frustrating and only happened after a forum post.  I can't see how hard it can be to reply to the *10* or so users (not 10,000) that seem to lurk on this form and email them.  Even a form letter - 'too swamped, try 3 months later' might have worked.

At least we would not have been in dark.

Their own  pronouncements would seem to indicate that  things are almost resolved , that any last requests have been mostly burned through, and we should email in case we are somehow left out - which is what makes you wonder why your email is not answered.

Jered, thanks for finally sending them.  I wish you would do the right thing and try to resolve these three requests or reply back - a 1-liner would be fine - to these guys as well:

Thanks for putting them all in one place. They're all being taken care of if they haven't been already.

I like your style Deego... ;)

Deego's a good guy, we've worked very closely and hope to again in the future.

I apologize for having been in a 'pissed' and 'frustrated' mood regarding this issue lately.
----

I sincerely thank Jered for coming back and taking care of things.

I agree - I always enjoyed working and chatting with Jered in the good 'ol (err, less than a year ago?) times before dwolla happened.

Haha same, the goal is to get back to that state. We've all been a little stressed and frustrated I'll forgive the mood. You're a good guy I completely understand.

Hi Jered, Are you able to check personal messages. (See 'My Messages' in the top center.)  I sent you this:

I'm itching to close the unfortunate 'scammer' thread. Are you able to provide an update on this post?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77723.msg866308#msg866308

Thanks.
