Hi , my name is allwelder  , I am an developer from the nxt community.
Some other developers and me (together a team of 5) plan to completely remake and update BitLion , a cryptocurrency which was launched June 21 this year.

BitLion failed shortly after its launch and went down for quite some time , my team and I started developing features for this coin 1 month ago and accumulated a chunck of coins.

Our plan is to do basically what jl777 did with Bitcoindark , we now own a good amount of coins and have a couple of features finished or almost finished , we will aquire more coins over time , release more features and make this a top 50 coin within the next weeks.

We want to takeover a coin instead of making a complete new one because it saves time which can be spent on coding and it is faster cheaper and easier to just take an old coin and remake it , we chose BitLion because it has a low marketcap (currently about 3 btc) , it has a pretty good code and basic infrastructure and it has a realy iconic and impressing wallet theme , lions.
This also does not require us to do a premine or an ico which nobody realy likes too much at the moment and gives a pretty good distribution from the start.

We like the idea of a lion-coin because lions represent strength power and are the kings of the animal kingdom , which we aquire to become in the cryptocurrency world.

We are currently working on different features , have some already finished and have some planned for the future.

Features that are already finished and will be implmented with the release of the new website in 2 days : Community crowdsourcing , Marketplace (2-3 days delaied) , Lion fund , PoD by cryptoasian (if he has enough time to do it until then) , Inwallet Poker will be finished in about 7 days an almost finished not inwallet version is already aviable for downloading.

To further make everything clear to you we will release a whitepaper on the website on launch.

Once those features are working properly we will begin working on the others , the order in which they are done can be decided by the comunity.


Anonymous transactions


We will try to get on the supernetwork from jl777 which we should be able to accomplish once the new features are released , if that does not work out , ZeroCoin  technology is already integrated into BitLion and we will make an updated version.



Replacing wallet adresses with nicknames


We are working on replacing wallet adresses with nicknames that can be chose by the useres , this will make transactions way easier and will actually allow you to remember your adress and make BitLion easier to use for non-crypto-people.


Sidechains


After our current work is done we will try to implement sidechains like Viacoins.


Lion fund  


We have already accumulated some coins and we will use those as a stabilization fund to keep the price unsustainable outbreaks  , once a passende marketcap is reached.



New website  


We are fixing some things on the new website and will release it in about 2-3 days.
From the general setup and the images it will be pretty similiar to the website started by the old dev , however we prefer a classy black and white colouring.

We have already contacted Crypto Asian and will do a proof of developer test shortly.



Community crowdsourcing  

We are working on a function that will be implemented in the website , that allows developers to come up with a project and allows the comunity to crowdfund it , if the goal is not reached the coins will automaticly be send back.
This will make the development much faster and allow people to come up with their own ideas for the coin , it will be released together with the updated website.



Marketplace


A marketplace will be implemented to the website within the next 7 days you will be able to sell your own products and you will also be able to pay with other selected coins however payments with other coins will cost you an extra 7% that will go towards either the Lion fund or towards another project , chosen by the community.



Merchant acceptance programm


We are coding a merchant api function to allow you to pay with XBL wherever btc is accepted which , if bitcoin is going to be implemented to paypal (which it looks like judging from this video released yesterday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF7HxLCFMeY) you will be able to shop on ebay using XBL.
However we will focus on other features over this one first since it will only be needed once we reach a higher marketcap (ordering a top PC would be costing more then buying all coins in existence at the current price levels).


Inwallet games + lottery


There will be inwallet poker and a lottery where everybody can send in as many coins as he wants , the sender gets tickets according to how many coins he sended , once per week on winner will be determined who gets all coins in the pool send to his wallet.

Anonymous messages


Anonymous messaging is a nice addition to anonymous transactions allowing you to say what the coins are for and generally comunicating with the recipent without having to gice away your privacy.


Sms wallet


We are working on releasing sms wallets which are a secure storage mechanism and allow you to make mobile payments.


Standing orders


The standing orders function will allow you to have set transactions to a certain adress at certain times which is helpfull when paying someone for an ongoin service over a longer period of time.



Credit Card  

If everything goes well and everything else we could do is done we might try to make a BitLion credit card , however since this is a pretty hard thing to accomplish this is the last thing on our list.
