Title: CoinDL Pricing
Post by: xiaomei on April 22, 2012, 05:23:54 PM
How does CoinDL justify charging a 20% fee while services such as Sellfy and Gumroad charge 5% only?

Its a smaller site, when it begins to pick up some sales they will surely lower the fees.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

I believe the need to raise extra revenue by charging 20% to a few users is not worth scaring potential sellers.

Simply put,

5% from lots of sellers > 20% from a few sellers

Not if they can't afford to make a loss in the beginning.
