Title: [WTS] Video/Audio Editing - Offering affordable and quick service since 2011
Post by: mccorvic on April 24, 2012, 03:10:26 PM
Hello.  I am a budding AV editor and am looking for a chance to practice my skill/make a few BTC.  If you have some video you'd like put together or audio you want mixed please contact me and we'll work out a deal.  I'll do anything with you supplying the material (wedding videos, ect) to basic requests (Make a Rainbow Dash montage to this German folk song, ect)

Here is one example of my mix-craft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYwrag28yUU
I've also done a few corporate "how-to" videos where I narrated as well.  Would supply them here, but not sure how those clients would feel about being advertised here so won't provide links.

Another example of some work I've done for BTC clients:
Playtin Promo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NZUbUo569Q
MLP:FiM fan video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT_vPzvIGFM

For those interested, I do have access to some decent voice talent (both male/female).  So, if you want a commercial or voice-over, this is entirely possible.

Awesome man. Currently working on a bitcoin advertisement campaign.

I like your work so maybe we can work out a deal to mix my videos with some cool music like happy hardcore etc...

Still need materials for your work so I'll get back to you if I actually have work.

Nice :)

I am intrigued.  How much would you charge for something of this nature?

Depends on length/difficulty.  Off the top of my head, something like the montage/music video like the Exo-Squad one I used as example in first post I'd say...2-3BTC.  Also depends on how specific.  If you have the scenes and an idea of what you want, that is easier on me and will be less. If it really is just "make something using this show/song" then I'll have to spend more time on it.

Something more complicated/longer will obviously be more.

PM and we can discuss specifics.

I just wanted to say that mccorvic sent me the finished video, and I am very impressed.  It was exactly what I wanted and more.  It was finished within a reasonable time, and it was well worth the relatively small price he quoted me.  I highly recommend this guy.

Nice to see some video/audio editing services.I'd like to add myself as another option. Can I see a portfolio? As a filmmaker myself I'm curious to see the work of other filmmakers/videographers. Good luck with your service. :)

This may not interest you, but if you are between projects, you can contact rachel@adamvstheman.com. Apparently Adam's show has tons of footage he needs edited down to manageable YouTube videos. Also you can make your own video based off of a rant he has or whatever. The standard deal is he releases if on his YouTube channel (35,000 subscribers and the occasional viral video) and he splits the profits 50/50 for the first 3 months. I don't know all the details and you may be able to get a different deal with a long term thing, but it is just a potential lead for you to look into.

He also is a bitcoin supporter and accepts bitcoin for merchandise and donations. You likely could work something out to get paid in bitcoin.

Some feedback:

He did a short promo video for my site easycoin.net
Basically exactly what i was looking for, well done :)

Also price was really fair and he was easy to work with, i like it when someone just finishes something and doesnt ask me to check all the time ;)

Thanks again, hope to work with you again in the future.

What's your best video with multiple layers/motion or do you just edit clips together?

I def do a lot outside of just smushin' clips together.  The best examples that I have off hand is the one for playtin: http://youtu.be/6NZUbUo569Q and this fan video that was commisioned from me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT_vPzvIGFM  The second one does have some regular clip using, but you'll see a lot of different things in it :D
