Title: Hey all thought I'd introduce my self
Post by: liquidreality on April 24, 2012, 10:26:46 PM
Hey all! Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a Canadian currently residing on the east coast. I joined your community here namely to do some trading as I'm getting increasingly p.o'd on how difficult its getting for me to buy BTCs. Also, I want to learn more about BTCs.

You should also try signing up on http://bitcoin-otc.com/
It is probably the best way to buy BTC at the moment, once you get a set up (takes a while as its complicated) and get some feedback, you should have no problem finding a seller to sell you BTC via PayPal or whatever other payment method suits you best.

Thanks for the advice all! I'm for sure going to check some of those options out. I was using the mentioned Canadian bit coin exchange but when I went to get verified they wanted a bill in my name. Well thats going to be difficult because in my current living situation nothings in my name. Oh why must getting bit coins be so difficult!

buying bit coins from canada shouldn't be too dificult. if your having trouble, try trading on a forex broker, get usd for your cad, and buy with mtgox or cryptoxchange. but there are other btc brokers you can look into that accept paypal, i might even consider it in the future.

BitInstant.com (http://BitInstant.com) will have cash deposits available in Canada within 1-3 months. Hold tight ;)
