Title: Changing username Post by: PRC_May on September 14, 2014, 08:44:34 PM Is it possible to change ones username with the help of a mod?
Starting a new one sucks with history, trust etc. connected. PM him with your desired new name, but don't expect a response.

I have noticed that the TF account has changed usernames a number of times. No biggie. Just wondered. Title: Re: Changing username Post by: Coef on September 15, 2014, 06:43:06 PM Is it possible to change ones username with the help of a mod? Starting a new one sucks with history, trust etc. connected. May be you should start thinking about a "suitable" new username. :) For your reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.msg7697424#msg7697424 Adding or removing text to/from a username is particularly likely to be accepted because it doesn't make it significantly easier for someone to scam. Your identity isn't really changed. I tend to ignore requests for complete username changes except from veteran members. (Even then, it's one of the lowest-priority requests I receive, so it can be forgotten. I have kind of a "leaky queue" for forum work -- if I don't get to a request in a couple of days, I usually drop it.) Didn't think I'd use the account for other stuff when I made it. Usually just a reader. |
