I highly recommend you immediately put the coin in a plastic ziplock, every second oxygen touches the coin the value decreases and degrading increases.

Also, do not touch the coin with your fingers, use gloves.

Do not, seriously, do not try and clean the coin yourself, it will make it worse.

I did not heed these warnings from fellow members and I had alot of coins lose value.

Other than that, the condition looks pretty decent. To get the best value, I recommend getting it graded for $50 via ANACS, its pretty easy

I would offer you 2BTC, but it is hard to really tell the shape from pictures.  How has this coin been stored all these years?

A 2011 S1 1 BTC coin in good condition goes for 3 - 3.5 BTC. Don't accept those low-ball offers.

True, but look at the condition.

I found a 2011 error in my old office stuff a few months ago and took 1.8 for it. I probably could have gotten more but the quality was a lot worse

I admit, these were not protected well, since they were like pennies back then... lol.

Agreed if it was kept in an air tite / coin flip. 2BTC is definitely my best offer though for this one.  It would probably be worth the time and effort to ship this in to ANACS and have it graded.  If it comes back MS-64 or above you can get closer to 3+ BTC

If you are located in the U.S. is there really no good reason not to send it in for grading, the few bucks it cost is insignificant compared to the value of the coin... and then can you put it back in your Drawer (or drawers if you prefer than) without any concern.

Cheers!
